The Near East Yeniboğaziçi Campus, which brought the education quality of the Near East College to Yeniboğaziçi right next to Famagusta, continues to grow with new investments. A multi-purpose sports hall with a closed area of ​​2,000 square meters was opened on the campus of the Near East Yeniboğaziçi College, which continues its education with kindergarten, pre-school, primary school, secondary school and high school units. Equipped with infrastructure in line with international standards, the gym will not only make a great contribution to the sports development of nearly 1,000 students studying on campus, but will also meet an important need of the region.

Infrastructure is in line with international standards
The multi-purpose sports hall, opened on the Near East Yeniboğaziçi Campus, has a closed area of ​​2 thousand square meters. The sports hall built with steel and reinforced concrete construction system is ready to serve for basketball, volleyball and handball organizations with its 500-person audience capacity, main entrance hall, entrance terraces, and all facilities such as men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Construction materials approved by international basketball, handball and volleyball federations were used in the floor covering, which provides safety, comfort and sportive performance for athletes.

Investments continue in Yenibogazici
Near East Yeniboğaziçi Campus, which started education in September 2020, provides education with kindergarten, pre-school, primary school, secondary school and high school units. However, with the opportunities it provides not only to its students but also to the people of the region, it also offers solutions to the important needs of the region, especially Famagusta and Iskele.

Halil Günsel Culture and Congress Center, which has many meeting rooms as well as an amphitheater for 450 people, enriches the lives of the people of the region with the congresses and events it hosts, and aims to make art and culture an indispensable part of the lives of students and the people of the region with the exhibitions held in the multi-purpose exhibition hall.

The Grand Library and the Near East University Faculty of Medicine Yeniboğaziçi Hospital, which are under construction on the Near East Yeniboğaziçi Campus, are planned to be opened this year.

The Grand Library, which will offer access to 750 thousand printed books and 850 million digital resources, will also provide free services to the people of the region, especially Famagusta and Iskele. Near East Yeniboğaziçi Grand Library will offer a comfortable use to its users with a seating and study area for 250 people, individual and group study rooms, electronic resources research hall, periodicals reading section and an archive room.

The quality healthcare needs of the region will also be met by the Near East University Faculty of Medicine Yeniboğaziçi Hospital, of which the investment is in the process of completion, .
