The results of the Scholarship Ranking and Entrance Exam administered by Near East College, Near East Yeniboğaziçi College, and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College have been announced. According to the exam results, a total of 159 students have been awarded scholarships, including 21 Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarships.
The “Scholarship Ranking and Entrance Exam”, administered by Near East College, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College, and Near East Yeniboğaziçi College for the 2026-2027 Academic Year, was completed with high participation. 550 students participated in the exam, which was held simultaneously in three centers: Nicosia, Kyrenia, and Yeniboğaziçi.
A total of 159 students were awarded scholarships as a result of the assessment process. Accordingly, 21 students granted the “Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarship”, 29 students granted the “Full Tuition Scholarship”, 52 students received the “Partial Tuition Scholarship”, and 57 students received the “Quarter Tuition Scholarship.”
All students who earned the right to enroll as a result of the exam can benefit from the early registration opportunities provided by the Near East Schools until June 12th.
A New Era in Uninterrupted Educational Support!
Scholarship winners will receive educational support at different rates according to their academic rankings, while students who were granted to receive the Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarship will have the right to benefit from comprehensive scholarship opportunities throughout their education.
In line with the decision taken by the Günsel Family Board before the exam, the scope of the Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarship and the Full Tuition Scholarship was expanded and restructured to include university education. Within this scope, scholarship winners will have the right to continue their undergraduate education with scholarships at Near East University and Kyrenia University, which are among the top 500 universities in the world, after completing their college education.
The deadline for registration for the Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarship is June 12, 2026.
Students who were granted to received the Dr. Suat Günsel Scholarship must register by Friday, June 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the secretariats of Near East College, Near East Yeniboğaziçi College, and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College.

Congratulating all the students who participated in the Scholarship Ranking and Entrance Exam and won scholarships, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemre S. Günsel Haskasap, a member of the Near East Enterprises Board of Trustees, expressed her happiness at the intense interest shown by the students. Stating that they value equal opportunities in education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemre S. Günsel Haskasap said, “Every year we further improve our scholarship opportunities to support our students’ achievements and prepare them for a strong future.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cemre S. Günsel Haskasap emphasized that colleges place great importance not only on academic achievement but also on the social, cultural, and individual development of their students. She said, “Our goal is to cultivate individuals who are self-confident, inquisitive, productive, and able to understand the world accurately. We will continue to provide a contemporary and strong educational environment where our students can unleash their potential.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haskasap added, “I believe that our students, who will become part of the Near East Family, will make significant achievements in the future.”
